Fur & Suits is a prediction-based trick-taking card game, in the same family as games like Oh Hell or Wizard. Every round, before any cards are played, each player has to guess exactly how many "sets" they'll win. The rest of the round is a balancing act — chase the sets you called, avoid the ones you didn't, and watch your opponents try to do the same. Guess correctly and you get a big scoring bonus; guess wrong and you're left with nothing but bare points from whatever you actually won.
The hand size shrinks every round, from a full hand down to a single card, and that final round flips the format entirely: you can't look at your own last card, but everyone else's is dealt face-up. You call your guess blind, then flip and play it not knowing what you're holding. It's the tensest moment of the game, every time.

Fur & Suits started as a personal project: a favorite card game from family game nights, rebuilt from scratch as something playable anywhere without needing a physical deck or a full table of people. The animal cast gives every player a character to pick as their avatar at the table, whether you're playing solo against AI or joining friends in a room.
It's built and maintained by a solo developer as an ongoing side project, with new features — avatars, sound design, tutorial tips, and more — added over time based on how people actually play.
