Privacy Policy
Effective July 11, 2026
Fur & Suits is a card game available as a web app and an iOS app. This page explains what information is collected when you play, and why.
What we collect
- Display name and avatar. You choose these yourself when you start a game or join a room. We don't verify identity — your name doesn't need to be your real name.
- Room codes and game state. When you play multiplayer, the cards, scores, and seat assignments for that room are stored temporarily on our server so other players' devices can sync to it.
- Standard server logs. Like virtually any web server, ours logs IP address, timestamp, and request details for every request. This is used only for security purposes — detecting abuse and enforcing rate limits — and isn't used to track or profile individual players.
We don't have user accounts, don't collect email addresses or passwords, and don't ask for or store any payment information ourselves (see "In-app purchases" below).
How long we keep it
Multiplayer room data is automatically and permanently deleted 24 hours after the room is created. There's no long-term record of who played, what was said, or how a game went.
Advertising
Both the web and iOS versions of Fur & Suits show ads to support free play. Ad networks generally collect device or advertising identifiers and may use cookies to serve ads, including personalized ads, and to measure performance. We don't control what these networks collect — their own privacy policies cover that in detail:
- iOS: ads are served by Google AdMob. On iOS you'll be asked for tracking permission (Apple's App Tracking Transparency) before any cross-app tracking is allowed; declining still lets you see ads, just less targeted ones.
- Web: ads are served by our web ad partner. You may see a cookie-consent notice the first time you visit, depending on your location.
In-app purchases
The iOS app offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. This is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Children's privacy
Fur & Suits is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

This is a casual side project, not a company — there's no legal team behind this policy. It's a plain-language description of what actually happens, written to satisfy Apple's and the ad networks' requirements as well as common sense.
