How to Play Fur & Suits

A trick-taking card game for 2–8 players. Predict exactly how many sets you'll win each round — nail it, and you score big. Miss it, and you don't.

The Goal

Each round, before a single card is played, every player guesses how many "sets" (tricks) they think they'll win. The rest of the round is spent trying to make that guess come true — either by winning exactly the sets you called, or by steering clear of ones you didn't. Guess right and you're rewarded with a big scoring bonus on top of your points; guess wrong and you're stuck with only the bare points from sets you happened to win.

The Final Round

When the hand size counts down to a single card, the round gets a twist: you pick up your one card but you're not allowed to look at it. Everyone else's single card is dealt face-up, so you can see exactly what your opponents are holding — just not your own. You still have to guess how many sets you'll win before flipping and playing completely blind.

Scoring

Hit your guess exactly10 pts + 1 pt per set won
Miss your guess+1 pt per set won (no bonus)

Scores accumulate across every round of the game. The player with the highest total when the final round ends wins.

Strategy Notes

Fur & Suits plays in the browser with no download required, and supports both solo play against AI opponents and real-time multiplayer with friends using a shared room code. The game is best played with 4–6 players, though any table size from 2 to 8 works.
